Flavonoid Blast Mix
Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants that are anti-inflammatory, support a strong and healthy immune system, and assist the body with its detoxification efforts. 1/2 a teaspoon of this delicious jelly provides your body with a powerful blast of flavonoids, and is a great way to nourish your body and keep your immune system strong.
This bag of mix contains: Chia seeds, cherries, blueberries, orange rind, goji berries, pomegranate, cranberries, carrots, rose hips, schisandra berries, hawthorn berries, bilberries, acai berries, maqui berries, cinnamon, & ginger.
To use the mix to make the jelly, simply mix with 1/3 cup of your juice of choice. Get best results with the Just Juice line of concentrates or juices (or make sure to use a juice without added sugar). After you’ve incorporated the mix into the juice, put it in the refrigerator and let it sit overnight to thicken (the chia seeds will absorb the juice and swell).
The resulting jelly is tart. If you prefer it sweeter, feel free to add a little bit of honey, or mix it with applesauce or mashed bananas. It’s great by the spoonful, but can also be used to top toast, crepes, waffles, etc.
1 bag of mix makes approx. 4 oz
Suggested use: 1/2 – 1 tsp per day (do not exceed 2 tsp per day)
May add honey to sweeten.
